Open Days
The school of footwear has open days every Wednesday and Thursday of the year from 10am to 4pm. Please email or call to let us know when you are coming. Or if those times don’t suit, contact us to arrange a weekend visit.
This allows prospective students to come to the factory and meet some of the co-op who use the facility as their workroom every Wednesday. The co-op work in all areas of shoe making (circus, theatre, orthopaedics, fashion, art) and you will get to see some true handmaking skills.
The open days allow prospective students to view the machinery and tools in use and witness some of the skills learnt in the courses. We can walk you through the curriculum and explain each of the courses to you. If you are unable to visit on one of our Wednesday open days, please get in touch with the Darren, the School's founder to discuss an alternate appointment: 0401 385 957.
